'THE AMALTAS DIARY'
Taking inspiration from the vibrant Amaltas Tree which brings color to the streets in summer, I decided to embroider the flower on a cloth and use it as a cover for the book. The book is made from scratch, using kettle stitch with handmade paper with a hard cover binding.
'THE CACTI DIARY'
This diary is a personal favorite, made from scratch, using kettle stitch to make signatures from handmade paper. Later it was bound between hard covers, with embroidered cloth.
'THE CHERRY BLOSSOM DIARY'
Again made using kettle stitch and handmade paper, this diary has embroidery on both sides depicting the beautiful fall from of the cherry blossom tree.
JAPANESE BINDING BOOKS
These books were made by stacking sheets together and binding them using Japanese stitch.
